Prodigy 7, Teledyne Leeman Labs

The inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry is a method for the simultaneous determination of a number of elements in a broad concentration range in dissolved samples. The spectrometer Prodigy 7 ICP-OES, Teledyne Leeman Labs (USA) is a compact inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer with ICP Plasma RF – 40 MHz; high resolution Echelle polychromator and solid state CMOS detector. The dynamic range of the method is several orders of magnitude (from ppm to %), but there are numerous spectral interferences. It is suitable for multielement analysis (including carbide-forming elements) of digested samples or solutions.
